Cancelled: Purim Carnival
Sunday, March 8, 2020 • 12 Adar 5780
11:30 AM - 2:30 PMEntire CampusAll are welcome to enjoy songs and a family-friendly shpiel, followed by our annual Purim Carnival with exciting new activities! Costumes strongly encouraged for adults and kids!
Suggested donation: $10 per person (for games and lunch). Pay at the door (cash or checks welcome) or charge to ShulCloud at the event. (All donations will support Beth Am's teen programming.)
*Purim Tzedakah Project: One of the mitzvot of Purim is giving matanot la’evyonim (gifts to the poor). Once again, we are collecting new or gently used bras (in good shape only) to give to Be A Dear and Donate a Brassiere, a nonprofit organization started in 2009 which has donated over 10,000 bras to local Bay Area homeless shelters. Bra donations should have all hooks working and no stains or pulled elastic. Diverse sizes needed. Receive a $1 discount off admission for every item you bring to donate to our tzedakah recipient!
Please note: We are monitoring local health information regarding the coronavirus outbreak. At this time we do not intend to cancel any events, but we are taking appropriate measures to inhibit transmission.
